The opportunity
Delaware North Australia is hiring Senior Security Officers to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin, Northern Territory. As a Senior Security Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the safety and security of guests, employees, and property, coordinating with the security team to enforce rules and regulations, and responding to incidents or emergencies. If you have a strong background in security management and are committed to ensuring a secure environment, we’d love to have you on our team.
What will you do?
- Assist with the completion of patrols around the casino, hotel, and resort areas
- Review reports relating to any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences
- Ensure all tasks are completed in line with Federal and Territory legislation
- Respond to any first aid calls when required
- Attend training courses regarding compliance and regulatory enforcement procedures

- Demonstrated experience in leading a strong team
- Extensive experience in a security role
- Provide effective, efficient, and responsive security services
- Providing customer service to the public
- Effective communication with the public, internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to respond to emergency situations in a calm and efficient way
- Ability to work on a rotating roster
- Security License/Crowd Control License issued by the NT Government
- Certificates in First Aid/CPR, RSA and RSG
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Casino Operatives License
